Dr. Shamshad Akhtar is one of Pakistan’s most distinguished economists, with over 37 years of leadership at the State Bank of Pakistan, World Bank, UNESCAP, and ADB. Her deep expertise in monetary policy, development finance, and governance has shaped economic reform agendas across Asia. At ICMC 2025, her keynote address explores regional integration and innovation in capital markets.

CEO, NBP Fund Management

Dr. Amjad Waheed holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (Investments & Finance) from Southern Illinois University and is a CFA charterholder. He has over twenty years of experience in mutual funds and investment management, including senior roles at Riyadh Bank and NIT. At ICMC 2025, he moderates the Pension Reforms session, guiding dialogue on governance, transparency, and transitioning to defined contribution systems.

Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Agriculture & Food Security

Mr. Ahmed Umair has over twenty years of experience in agricultural policy, market reforms, and sustainability. He is also an adjunct faculty member at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), where he teaches agriculture value chains.
